They have shortened the list of documents that are attached to the written notification to the Ministry of Finance regarding the approval of the scope and conditions of local guarantees.

It was established that before the conclusion of the local guarantee agreement, the relevant local financial authority should obtain a decision from the Antimonopoly Committee in cases stipulated by the Law of Ukraine "On State Aid to Business Entities", which will allow somewhat simplifying the procedure for the provision of local guarantees.

The Verkhovna Rada of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and city councils will submit to register the provided local guarantees in the Register of Local Loans and Local Guaranteesto the Ministry of Finance within ten days after the conclusion of the local guarantee agreement, a certified copy of it in accordance with the established procedure, as well as copies certified in the established manner of:

- contracts, fulfillment of obligations on which guarantees are provided;

- agreements on repayment of the debtor's debt to the Autonomous Republic of Crimea or the territorial community of the city for the performance of the guarantee obligations;

- changes made to the essential terms of such agreements.

We will add that state (local) guarantees can be provided in order to support small and newly created enterprises; venture companies; large strategic, town-forming enterprises requiring sanitation; investment projects and infrastructure development; export-oriented enterprises and separate branches of the economy.
