In the event of such loss of state license plates, you must apply to the Ministry of Internal Affairs for re-registration of the vehicle.
The following documents must be submitted:
- a passport,
- a copy of the identification code,
- a vehicle registration certificate.
At the same time, please note that if the license plates have been lost, you will need to write an explanation of the circumstances of the loss.
In the case of license plate thefts, you must provide a certificate issued by the National Police.
If the owner of the vehicle is a legal entity, an act of official investigation must be provided.
Regarding the cost of re-registration with the issue of a new license plate, on average, it will be as follows:
- for vehicles of all categories of domestic production and CIS countries or individual units (with license plate issue) –525,47 UAH;
- for vehicles of all categories of foreign production or individual units (with registration plate) - 562,99 UAH;
- for motor transport, trailers of domestic production and CIS countries (with license plate) - 420,31 UAH;
- for motor transport, trailers of foreign production (with issue of license plate) - 457,83 UAH;
- for mopeds or their separate units is (with issue of license plate) 302,63 UAH.
