The Law of Ukraine of March 30, 2020 No. 540-IX on providing additional social and economic guarantees in connection with the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-2019) made important changes to the Tax Code of Ukraine regarding tax audits. In particular, for certain cases, a temporary extension of the general period of desk inspections set out in article 76, paragraph 76.3, of the TCU is provided.

On April 18, Law of Ukraine No. 559-IX of April 13, 2020 "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on Introduction of a Single Account for Payment of Taxes and Fees, a Single Contribution to Compulsory State Social Insurance" came into force, except for some provisions.

The Cabinet of Ministers has improved the program "Available loans 5-7-9%" in order to support the business during quarantine.

Among the major changes accepted in the program there are increasing of the maximum loan amount to UAH 3 million, expanding the list of investment lending objectives and refinancing opportunities at 0%.

Having received many queries from taxpayers on quarantine innovations, taxpayers published Information sheet No 9 explaining whether the deadlines for filing and reviewing taxpayer complaints had changed in the procedure for appealing against decisions of regulatory bodies.
