Formerly, for example, up-to-date information about a vehicle and a driver's license could only be obtained after a personal appeal by citizens (in personal presence). And information about fines was received by post a few days after the commission of the offense.
From now on drivers can get these services online. The new electronic service is already available on the website e-driver.hsc.gov.ua and in the section "Electronic services" on the Government portal kmu.gov.ua. To access the personal e-Cabinet, you must have a digital signature, BankID or MobileID.
Among the available services, you can use the following:
- review information about your driver's license (national and international);
- to find out all the relevant information about your vehicles (technical characteristics, ownership, history of cars);
- check whether the encumbrances on the vehicle are imposed;
- to receive promptly full information on the administrative violations and to pay the imposed fines.
In addition, if the owner of the car wants to order an individual license plate, - here, in the driver's electronic office, it is possible to check whether the selected sign is free in this region, and immediately order a layout.
Also, in the e-Cabinet there is a service for recording in the electronic queue to the Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, with the help of which you can choose a convenient date and time.
Note, it is now possible to check any vehicle for the VIN code, which is convenient when buying a car. Yes, you can find out for free the latest vehicle operation, date and place of last registration, year of issue and general specifications.
In addition, users of the e-cabinet can learn aboutb the number of previous owners, car involvement in an accident, the presence of a ban on sales or encumbrances, insurance, etc. But this service is paid - about 45 UAH.
