Unified register of arrested property is launched

Agency for Investigation and Asset Management (ARMA) has opened a unified state register of assets that have been seized in criminal proceedings

The register is formed and maintained for the purpose of generalizing and promptly exchanging information on assets obtained through crime. It shows data on assets, assets managed or sold within the framework of criminal proceedings, confiscation, proceeds from their sale, etc.

Since the end of 2019, the Register has been in pilot operation. It is filled only with information available at the Agency on the arrested assets, which is transferred to the management of the ARMA. For the time being, the Registry software is being tested for reliable and uninterrupted work in a regular mode.

Currently, more than 2,000 assets are listed in the registry.

Once the Registry has been integrated with other registries and databases (Unified Register of Judgments, Automated Enforcement System, Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations), it will be filled with information on arrested assets, mainly in an automated manner.

There is now a large amount of information available to the Registry at the disposal of ARMA, as well as an analysis of the functionality of the Registry. In addition, measures are being taken to comply with the requirements of the legislation on information security and to build a system of integrated information security.

The registry is available at the link.
