A new mechanism for carrying out State Labor inspections has been identified

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has defined a single mechanism for conducting state supervision by the State Labor Service of Ukraine.

The relevant government resolution was adopted at a meeting on May 20, according to the press service of the Ministry of Economy.

The adopted document establishes uniform rules for assessing the risks of conducting business activities and a mechanism for carrying out planned measures of state supervision (control) of the State Labor Service.

The changes concern the areas of labor protection, industrial safety, occupational health, handling of industrial explosives, labor, employment, employment and employment of persons with disabilities, the implementation of state mining supervision.

It is expected that the implementation of the resolution will help reduce the number of planned measures of the State Labor Service, taking into account the three levels of risk of business entities: high, medium and low.

It should be noted that currently the number of business entities that the State Labor Service has assigned to each of the three levels of risk is:

- high degree of risk - 82065 subjects;

- average degree of risk - 221434 subjects;

- insignificant degree of risk - 414,132 subjects.

Please note that the resolution defines the following risk assessment criteria:

- the presence of high-risk facilities and operation of machines, mechanisms, high-risk equipment of the business entity;

- availability of hired labor from the business entity;

- the presence of accidents in the business entity;

- method of extraction of minerals by the business entity;

- the presence of violations of the law in certain areas.
