The Ministry of Justice will update the USR and eliminate state notaries

A completely new Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Individual Entrepreneurs and Public Associations will be launched soon.

This was stated by the Minister of Justice of Ukraine Denys Malyuska, the press service of the Ministry of Justice reports.

According to the Minister, new software is being introduced into the registers. As of today, all the registries in the Ministry of Justice, which number about 30, are state-owned, administered by the state-owned company NAIS, and have a strong degree of protection that prevents them from being hacked by hackers.

"At the end of June, we plan to launch a new USR with new services: fast, structured and even more secure," said Denis Malyuska.

The head of the department also noted that the Ministry of Justice has developed a bill that provides for the liquidation of state music offices within two years. At the same time, a mechanism has been developed that will allow citizens to receive services at social prices.

"Private notaries will provide certain services to vulnerable groups at reduced prices. That is, the services that these people now receive from public notaries can be obtained for the same price from private ones. This mechanism will be adjusted and additional incentives will be introduced. People will not need to take a turn at 5 o'clock in the morning to get to the notary, "Denis Malyuska said.

He stressed that this concept has been agreed with the Notary Chamber, and a compensation mechanism has been developed.
