The law on inspections of market surveillance authorities was adopted
The Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on Reducing Pressure on Business by Market Surveillance Authorities" (the bill № 2172) came into force on March, 26. It was adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on December 12, 2019.
The schedule of tax inspections of business is updated
The State Tax Service has updated the schedule of documentary planned audits of taxpayers for 2020.
A list of allowed activities during quarantine is expanded
The Cabinet of Ministers has expanded the list of activities permitted during the quarantine. Such amendments were made to previously adopted Resolution 211.
Forced unpaid quarantine leave: is it legitimate?
On March 11, the Cabinet introduced a quarantine on the territory of Ukraine for the period from March 12, 2020 to April 3, 2020. The relevant decree No. 211 establishes a ban on the employment of business entities during this period, which provides for the reception of visitors, including catering establishments, shopping and entertainment centers, other entertainment establishments, fitness centers, cultural establishments, commercial and household services of the population, except retail trade in food, fuel, hygiene products, medicines and medical supplies, communications, banking and insurance activities and trade and catering activities with targeted delivery of orders, provided personal protective equipment is provided.
